Overview
The ResQ Shop, LLC was created in 2001 by Will Wingfield, a Flight Paramedic at the time, in Southern New Mexico and West Texas. Our first product was a Palm based medical reference software. Since then, our company has developed several products to include training videos, textbooks and software for multiple platforms.
All of our products have been created with a very focused target user; the critical care transport provider. While many of our products can and are used by Nurses, EMT’s, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists and even Physicians in various capacities, their development focus remains with the CCT provider. Will Wingfield has over 30 years of experience in this field. He has performed these duties in civilian, military, domestic and foreign theaters of operation.
With experience in so many areas, on so many platforms, Will and his colleague instructors brings an insight to the product delivery few can rival. In fact, we have separated ourselves from the paradigm that the “EMT-Paramedic” is a ‘terminal degree’. At this level of practice, Paramedics should be getting training from instructors with education exceeding that of the Paramedic. Will has been providing anesthesia as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in a Level 1 Trauma Center for over 10 years. He still consults for various transport programs on everything from legal reviews to program development and education/training techniques. In 2020, The ResQ Shop, LLC updated to a new LMS platform seeking to automate the process as much as possible. Here you will be able to get your login information immediately at purchase, no more waiting. The video system manipulation is improved as are the quiz system application.
In 2020, we also added to our program substantially, acquiring new material as well as new faces presenting the material. We will begin updating all modules but we started with new CAMTS updates, ground safety modules, a greatly expanded ventilator training section and advanced pharmacology sections.
If you’re a program director, education coordinator or just an employee that likes to present good ideas, consider this; The ACE PREP COURSE currently meets or exceeds most of the CAMTS recommendations for a transport program’s initial and recurrent training. We have multiple corporate customers which utilize our video series as an initial training tool and/or recurrent training tool.
